I liked the reflection of these logs.

Hey nice... simple, but very pleasing symmetry to it. Big Grin

Thank you. The original is much sharper than this one, but that's what you get when you downsize right?

I'd say go with a perfectly square crop. Or if there was any more frame to the left, I would have kept that... Nice calm reflection!

I think it look sreally good Trevor and I would not crop it. The 1/3 rule of composition is working for you here.

Here is another reflection shot (slightly askew).

Wow, awesome reflection, Toad! I love the clarity!

Was that post-processed at all? Polarizer?

There you go! You didn't really want to see this unprocessed junk after all, did you?

Wow... good job! I had a similar one, which I fixed up... it's on my PC at home though. I'll post it tonight. Big Grin

Nice shot Toad. I've been looking for some scenes that would look good with only the reflection in the frame such as yours. Most of the shots like that have been interesting to look at.
I agree about the post proccesing thing too. I haven't seen too many digitals that provide perfect pictures straight from the camera. I've got my pic adjust settings at low so that the camera doesn't add any extra noise. I procces all my good pics with PS for contrast, colour, and sharpness (sometimes a slight crop).

Matthew, I will try a square crop just to see how it looks. Would you suggest having the logs centered or should I keep them off center for the square crop?

Nice cleanup job - I know that can be very time consuming and problematic.

This was one of my ugliest cleanups of all time:
