Wow and wow again! Spectacular captures, John!
#1 and #3 are my favourites. The first is just really stunning because of the sharpness and also the richness of detail and colour. #3 is such a unique shot - I've never seen anything like it before. Very cool..

One word...wicked! Have not seen such close and sharp shots and agree with Shawn that last shot is amazing. What caused them all to fly off like that? Can you let me know what lens you were using?

They got scared of some other bird that was hovering around, high up in the air. I think it was an eagle or a hawk, Shot these with my EF 100-400 iS USM lens attached to my 30D camera. Thanx for looking, eh!

Great shots John.
#2 reminds me of the 3 ceramic duck grandma had on her wall. #3 is awesome. Sharon Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm. Winston Churchill

Beautiful pictures, John... I hadn't seen them...
All are great in its own. The single pictures #1 and #2 are great because of the detail and beautiful colors. The last one also is fantastic, because of the moment you capture. Splendid series. A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art. Paul Cezanne
