Thanks people. Yeah, Pat - I am in a prolific phase right now. I had one coming since I have been in a "don't care" patch for the last couple of months photographically.
Can't remember all of the steps exactly - it was pretty much just experimentation - I know there are multiple layers of various distortions to form the "faces" and there are cutouts in the foreground that reveal the background layer - which is also distorted and upside down as well.

Beautiful Toad.
Rich warm colors and light. I love the symetry, and the way you framed the distortion, I don't know if I explane it well... Red and golden give me a feeling, power.
