#1's background really draws attention to the bird's head, and the shadow over the eye makes it look angry.
The reflections in #2 really work well.
The detail in #3 is sweet.
That first image is really striking. And I don't think I'd want to meet that bird in a dark alley.
In the third photo, is the bird sticking its tongue out at you?
#1 seems as though you must have got wet, lying in wait for it.
