Very interesting the top photo. What are those floating islands? Interesting filter application, although I think it would be easier to appreciate if you showed a bigger picture. It is difficulat to see the pattern at this image size. I also like the lighthouse in what appears to be a marshland. Pavel

They are just bushes or tufts of grass flooded in a drainage ditch. I used a technique of merging an oversharpened high contrast layer with a normal layer.

Thabnks Pave. It is not the most popular technique. Most people don't like it.
