Our punk robin who calls daily for the mealworms. My wife is trying to get it to feed from her hand, unsuccessfully so far. Although it has made it as far as a teaspoon in her hand.

Nice photos NT, but they look a bit soft to me. The focus seems just right and you have enough DOF (sometimes just, I think). I wonder whether you are using sufficient shutterspeed ? Or are you not sharpening? Pavel

They are sharpened relative to the size I posted.
But as for the shutter speed it is related to the lens which at full zoom goes down to f5.6
A bit annoying cos the robin usually comes as the light starts to fade.
If I oversharpen I get artifacts and noise.
But I take on board what you are saying.
