...posting it here as it was too quick to be a portrait.
My mate Ray, in my garden; 350D, 70-200L(IS) at 70mm f.4, handheld; just gave it a faux "Tri-X" conversion in Power Retouche.

I like the photo a lot Zig. Ray looks very natural and I have a feeling that I know him from the photo. The lighting was good for you, giving you good 3-D without any harsheness. Glasses reflection well controled. A pleasing DOF. It may have been a grabshot, but it worked really well (may be BECAUSE it was a grabshot). P
