SURF'S UP! - Fogo Island Newfoundland
#1

This shot was taken a couple of days ago from my shoreline with my Sony A200 (handheld) using a Minolta 35-70mm F/4 lens, 1250/sec, ISO100. I have several of the old Minolta Maxxum lenses, which are the perfect complimentary companion to the Sony Alpha DSLR's. I love the way this lens renders the skies and water.

Absolutely this is wonderful. Like a painting... The contrast of the colours are great. Thank you,
Have a nice day and nice shots,
with my love,

Beautiful shot - just a little too over sharpened I feel.

Canon stuff.

Yup, thanks, wedding shooter! Glad to hear it, as that's just the look I am going for. If I changed my trademark sharpening at this stage of the game, I think people would turn on me, and I'd be back to shooting... well.. you know!
Cheers!
