Colors from old Minolta lenses - Fogo Island
#1

Here's another one, taken yesterday afternoon, with my Sony A200 and trusty old Minolta Maxxum 35-70mm F/4 lens. Two handheld shots stitched together using Microsoft ICE. I love how this 20+ years old lens renders the ocean and blue skies.

I dislike harsh mid-day light, but am looking forward to returning to capture a sunset from this very spot.

Taken on Butt's Point, (a couple hundred yards from my house) on the west side of Fogo Island, looking toward Pig Island.

Shot in RAW, 1/60th sec, ISO100, F/14

Also, I recently received some interesting news. The head of Newfoundland/Labrador Tourism visited my new gallery exhibit and wishes to purchase some of my work to be used for next year's tourism ads! (magazine, billboard, etc) You can just imagine my excitement level!
