Heard a rumour about this, but haven't tried it yet. Anyone had a chance to give it a go?

I did it once, I don't know if there is a new update available right now. The process itself is rather painless, you download the software, pack it on your card, switch the camera on and follow the instructions. Mind you, do read and follow the instructions!

From what I have seen in newsgroups it works just as it should and does improve what it sets out to improve.

Hey polecat, according to the Nikon website, there aren't any firmware upgrades available.
http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin/nik..._topview=1 Note that the D70s is a much newer camera than the D70 so they've probably ironed out all the bugs by the time it was released.
