Picture was taken from my bedroom window during a massive thundershower. I couldn't believe how hard it is to get a picture of the lighting. This was the only one I got out of several hundred pictures (thank you 1g xD card )

Picture has been cropped, sharpened, and NI.

Yes the purple is the color of the lightning, too bad it was hidden in the clouds, but it makes for a interesting picture.

Very nice pic! I love the dark colours and the lighting/lightning. The glow from the lamp adds a nice effect too!
