As Rufus said to StudioJ, in Peted's panorama thread
"We have trees too"
..... and to prove it, here's a shot of some of the landscape just up the road from where I live.
So there!

I should be so lucky!
The location is a small village (Groombridge) about 3 miles from home. The Raptor centre, where I took the shot of the Bengalese Eagle Owl, is a few yds futher up the hill just off the right side of the landscape image.

Here's a snap of my town.
As you can see, there are no trees in sight.

Thank you.
It's a favourite spot - it's not often the lighting is good for a few shots.

Nope, but you have some very nice, large sprouts and cabbages growing along the roadside.
Here's another place with no trees - just a peasant's pleasant cottage on England's green and pleasant land.

Hi there Zig.
This particular Raptor Centre is in the South EAST - on the boundary of West Kent and East Sussex.
Here's a link

Zig......I didn't know they'd left Newent. When, (and where), did they go?

Noodle: mm...5 years ago? I think they went to Exmoor/ Exeter way. Next time you and Rufus come over, we'll have a look atthe big buzzardy-kitey bird things on the hills round C.Zig. Sounds like bloody Mordor up there to be honest.
Ah Pol, Tunbridge Wells; my dad's family comes from there!
