[adam] Australia Day 2006
#1

I was with South Perth foreshore with Peter, then some Aussies ask us to take photographs of them:
"hey! take a photo!!! take a photo!!!" after taking a photograph of them, one says to Peter,
"I'll take one for you!! give me your camera"
So Peter passes his 20D to the guy who asks:
"Where's the take photo button?"
Then as he prepares to take the photograph, about 10 more random drunk Australians jump into the picture "take a picture!".
and I'm getting crowded. I had my 70-200 lens on, as I was taking photographs of the aeroplanes/helicopters also.
Then,.. a drunk guy who is holding a beer has his hand on my shoulder, and his beer spills onto my camera/lens! NOoOooooO SadSad anyway, got a pic of the story described above (as shot by the random-australian-guy-using-peters-camera).. I quickly wipe off the beer as fast as I can, but just worried... haha

Awesome shots, Adam! My favourite is the last one - the fireworks are spectacular, and the reflections in the water are too! And the sihlouettes of the boats top it all off...

Funny story about the drunk aussies... Big Grin

Happy Australia day! Big Grin

I love the firework shots, and particularly the last one, although I am not usually a fan of night shots of any kind. Just the right timing for the fireworks, truely adorable Smile
