Hi,
I worked this idea with this picture... What do you think about the post processing?
Thanks a lot for your comment...

Nice to see you, Irma, haven't seen pics from you in a while
I love your moonlight picture! On my screen, it comes across "einen Hauch" too blue for my taste, but that might well be my screen. the color range is nice. Did you do more of this kind?

Irma, I love it! Makes me want to get there in the morning and shovel it off for a game of pond hockey. I don't know what to critique here. I really like it as is.
Sit, stay, ok, hold it! Awww, no drooling! :O

I love it !
It gives me chills just looking at it, and I think the blue tone works fantastically here.

What would it look like in monochrome gray?
Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Looks very nice Irma! It almost looks like computer art, or what you'd see in a computer game. Very cool..

Thanks for your comments... I am very happy you like the picture....
This is the same place I have photographied before but this time it was taken in the afternoon and the lake was frozen... In my first try, Petographer adviced me this composition and yesterday I worked out his idea... but again the trees in the background turned out blurry and noise... I think next time I will use my 50mm... because I will try again...
So, anyway, I decided to take big decisions
I cropped tighter and took advantage of the light in the frozen lake... I worked with virtual photographer for the night look and then brightness/contrast...
@ wulinka,
Thanks I posted recently some pictures in the Assignment focus... but you are right I haven't been too productive since the weather hasn't been too nice... Yesterday, we got a blue sky and I went to this pond... I got some pictures I will share in the showcase...
@ Don,
I really didn't try a monochrome gray conversion... I will try, Thanks for your advice Don...
@Petographer...
Here is the place in daylight, if you decided to go and play there, I could bring some refreshments for you and your team
Lovely animation...
Thanks again to you all for your kind comments

Thanks Bob for your comment
I have to go again... I like the place a lot... these pictures are taken in a two meters width/wide line from the road because then starts the fence...... in addition it is in declive.. so.. It is really difficult to set up the tripod and forget about bend down to look for good angle ... specially in rush hours...

I like the monotone color treatment and post processing. In a perfect world, there would have benn 1 more visual element such as a rowboat - but it's still very nice.
