Jemima is beautiful and this pictures are great, Paul... Love the light in her hair as well...
BTW Do you think that the differences between the D2X and D2Xs are worth the extra money? I am thinking of buying one of those

Thank you Irma for the kind words.
No its not worth the extra money imo. only changes is the display ( its been improved to be a little more accurate), and the HSC mode (the area outside hsc is greyed out)
Everything else is available as a firmwareupgrade (this fall)
So IQ and performace will be exactly the same.
I will hold of to buy another body at least a year, initially i planned to buy the d200, but i skipped it since i need the vertical grip (and d200 vertical grip is just plain awful to me) and want at least the performance of my d2x.
Thanx for looking.

Thanx Russ!
the pp applied to the bw image is:
slighty cropped
resized
bw conversion using lab
slighty usm (0,3) to the eyes only
then reason the eyes(beside usm) stand out is because i used f/2,8 and the lightning. (the reflections in the eyes make the look more alive)
Glad you liked them.

Beautiful eyes, I can see why they are irresistable to her daddy!
She has enormous eyelashes too, like Talivers, I get you get lots of comments.
I actually prefer the colour version on these shots, I think its the gorgeous creamy brown of her skin that I love...
