Don - I like the long grass in the first shot - perhaps a little to the left so that all we saw was the grass and that black patch to the right eliminated. A tighter crop would produce a similar effect.

Canon stuff.

I worked hard on the black patch to increase the contrast without affecting the rest of the photo. I though I was too clever by half. oh well.
