A house by the lake, BW
#1

I took this picture as part of my series of the Luetjensee lake... The colors are no so bad but some how they don't match nicely... so I decided to work a flat B&W conversion and work my contrast with dodge and burn tools in PS.

Nice Irma!

It does look scary and mystical. I bet the color version would say something else. (interesting how a simple conversion can set the mode in a picture)

Im not sure if i like the refelction or not, it both detract from the house, and yet add something scary and mystical to the image. Tongue
Either way i like your treatment, it makes the shot very interesting.

I like the shot but it does seem a little bit " dark " for me , if you were trying for that look then i think you nailed it .

Actually, I was looking for a hard contrast but as I worked my contrast with dodge and burn and maybe I did it a bit too much.

Thanks a lot for your comments, I really appreciate them a lot... Smile
