They are about as large as a Robin, maybe a lill smaller. Glad you like em Sharon

Irma, it depends on how dedicated you are and what gear you have invested in.
I see folks walking around the trail and they think the birds will just fly their way and pose for them.
Fortunately it's the other way around. We have to find the birds and wait it out until we have a clear view without disturbing their every day lives.

You have a talent photographing birds, I don't - cant even manage to catch a duck at the local pond

They are pretty birds and you have captured the colours very well against the sky.

I bought a small hide last year for wildlife photography.... never set it up to this day!
