Singing in the Rain
#1

I took some photos of my niece playing in the rain the other day....

Not sure what I should do about the colour cast on her face, from the sun shining through the umbrella... and suggestions?

Isn't she adorable?

Thanks for looking - comments & critique welcome! Big Grin

She is lovely, and they are beautiful pictures... Smile

With the picture of the umbrella, I would make a mask in the face and hand, desaturate magenta and red and with the same mask work contrast and brightness.

(Photoshop) I selected inside the umbrella and all of the girl to the bottom of the yellow jumper.
Rough selection with magnetic tool, and then using magic wand, adding and subtracting to get closer to where I wanted the selection. Am I making sense?
Then took out some of the red in Colour. Then just lightened a touch.
If you use magenta, it takes away the colour of the umbrella. The red takes it from her face.
At the moment you are winning though. Wink
You have got the model. Big Grin I have got artifacts with resizing again.

Have to say I like number 1 (even though she is a super cutey), It is quite striking and imaginative filling of the frame. Has some emotion an feeling to it which I like.
