That's what I saw. Thanks Toad
This is for me a dangerous place. I rode my bike out the very North Eastern edge of the city. In Winnipeg, that means the beginning of endless wilderness, on a single lane road surrounded by fast moving trucks. It was cold at the northern edge of Summer with a gusty head wind and no encouraging breaks in the clouds. I kept glancing at the cracks in the old paving and the big ditch a few feet to my right. When I got the corner at the edge of the planet, i dismounted and locked my bike to a sign that said stop. Then I walked a quarter mile on a gravel trail introduced to me as Danger no through... until I found this. I felt like Amundsden or Cartier.
