It would be nice to know your name...... According to my info, the Canon 199A speedlight has a trigger voltage of 6V. This would make it safe to use with any of the current Canon digital cameras including the 60D. GrahamS Take my advice. I'm not using it.

Thank you "EdMak," I checked out that thread, which did lead to Botzilla.com ( thank you also "Wall-E" ).
And for the record "GrahamS" my name is Wayne. I was also lead to "www.photonotes.org" which provided even more information than "Botzilla.com. thanks for all the direction. AWH
