A Simple Subject
#1

This shot was taken with my Nikon D5300, with theTamron 90mm macro lens.

A panorama of 12 shots, each shot focus stacked from between 3-6 images.

Looks very nice, Fogey. Sounds like a lot of work went into it - if I'm reading it right somewhere between 36 and 72 frames? That's impressive.

Thank you.
The biggest problem was this grass was leaning away from me and I had to focus stack to get the depth sharp throughout the length of the grass as I was too close to the subject for a change in the aperture to have any appreciable effect.

That and the fact that the grass was swaying around the frame in the lightest of breezes, I took closer to 170 shots for this one image.
