An intro
#1

Hi all,
I have been lurking on this site for about two years and finally decided to join it after seeing one of your members write about iPad photography. My "real" camera is a Nikon 7000 and have had it about two years, about the same length of time as my iPad.
I have found that each one works really well under differing circumstances. I have found that with my iPad I can walk around taking shots and nobody pays attention to me, "I'm just a geek with an iPad". On the other bringing out the Nikon can cause the occasional alarm calls when in public settings. So I use it and the tripod to take outdoor shots where the iPad simply cannot compare.
I post process iPad shots with Snapseed for the post part and use others on occasion. I process my RAW files with CS6. I took an on-line course to get me started and it worked well. I now search the web when I have a problem.
That's enough information for now.
