Bike Ride
#1

I've been doing a fair bit of cycling this year and today I did my first 100 mile ride. I went around some stunningly beautiful areas, in both England and Wales, most of which seemed to be uphill. I took the little Panasonic GM1 with me, and grabbed a few snaps:

Super Derek, especially the second sunset, worth a bit of editing. How long was your overall journey. Cheers. Ed.

Thanks guys :-)

I set off at 6:30 am, Ed, and got back at 16:00. I'd estimate I had an hour's worth of breaks with the photo and the cake. Started off in April this year doing 25 / 30 miles and worked my way up to 100. Not sure what happens next!

That second sunrise just came together beautifully, the two beams of light, one to the middle left, and on to the bottom right, with the Cathedral in the distance. It was about three miles and fifteen minutes from home. The rest of the photography was downhill from there.

Wonderful series of photographs, Derek.. Both the bicycle and the GM1 are obviously in competent hands. Bravo on both counts.
