HP Photosmart M437 (5 megapixels) for $85 at Circuit City

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Nice! I do miss having a compact point and shoot at times...

This camera has a very bad rating by all the critics. The lens is not the best. But it was cheap and it's simple and small enough to pocket.

Don, I have no doubt that you'll turn its 'flaws' into positive attributes. I've already been impressed with the photos you've shot with it.
