CD/DVD Slide show program?
#1

Just wondering if anyone here knows of any programs I can use (preferably free) to make Slideshows on VCD or DVD that I can play in a normal stand alone DVD player?

Gear:
3 x GoPro Cameras
1 x Canon S100
1 x Nikon D5100
1 x Sony DSC-TX10
Apple MacBook Pro 15" (Retina Display)

Windows Movie Maker?

Also try one of the freeware categories at snapfiles...

It depends on how elaborate you want it. I use NERO. With that I can compile a DVD slide show but there is no sound and it's difficult to sort images.

I beleive the lateest versions of NERO include better slide show capability.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

I made a slideshow using Ulead DVD PictureShow 2. It's pretty good, fairly easy to use, and you can include audio files.

But for full-blown DVD movies (backup discs), I have Nero. I hate the interface and find it clunky to use, but there are some good web tutorials around.
