Camera bags
#1

Going away next month and taking my equipment with me so wanted to find a decent rucksack that will also hod my camera equipment as well as other stuff so I can use it as cabin baggage.
I saw Lowenpro do several but very expensive and nearly all of them did not have what I needed.
Lo and behold I found this:

http://tuff-luv.com/dslr-camera-cases-an...kpack.html

It arrived this morning and having just paid £25 new from Ebay, I would heartily reccommend it. Camera equipment all fits snugly in the bottom and is easily accessible without the need for opening other pockets, there is a dedicated slot for my laptop, pockets for filters and batteries etc. or you van pull out a mesh for your drink bottle, and 1 more big compartment for all my other travel bits. You could defo use it as an overnighter. Oh, and it holds a tripod too!! All for £25 folks!
And no, I do not work for them, just very impressed and wish to pass it on. (£29.99 on Ebay but they accept best offers of £25) Smile

That looks like a great deal. It resembles my more expensive Kata 465i.

I recently purchased one bag from Amazon which fitted my requirements of being able to put in 2 camera bodies, 3 lenses, 2 chargers, some minor lens fixtures, a mini laptop, and other accessories like flash, torch, batteries etc.

Here is that link - http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Backp...bag+camera

I like this one Samy. Good bag for a reasonable price. This I think will definitely a one good day bag when into a market to shoot.

The very best Camera Bags for Outdoor/Hiking/Trekking/Back-Country use - without exception are made by F-Stop. They really are outstanding and I cannot recommend them highly enough. http://fstopgear.com/

Don't misunderstand me, they aren't cheap! But you do get the very best quality and protection for your camera equipment and the best rucksack harness for carrying it around. The opening for your gear goes against your back, so that when you put the pack down, the straps etc. don't get dirty. You also get interchangeable Inners so you can size the pack for your trip. And no! I don't work for them, just passing on stuff. Smile

Looks interesting GTG. This is the first time I heard about Fstopgear from Philippines. I do like that putting your pack down and the straps and any material that touches your back wont get dirty. This is most common when sometimes you're in an outdoor shoot and need to get something from your heavy pack.

GTG - Do you have a favorite series from the company you like over the other?

Hi Barbara,

I use the Tilopa with an XL Pro ICU. I get my D300, Sigma 150-500, Nikon 12-24, 35, 60 and 18-200 lens, Filters, Mounts, Remotes and a host of cleaning stuff inside. Still have room for my MacBook, 3 Litres of water and warm/waterproof clothes as well. Loads of straps on the outside for fixing stuff to (tripods etc.). With all that loaded the pack fells very comfortable on and I regularly walk 10-12 miles with it.

I've looked for a long time to find this pack and I wouldn't swap it for the world.

I have yet to find the 'perfect' camera bag. It should also have ample room for a 15" laptop and other 'toys', like a Kindle or a tablet (and their respective chargers). It would be awesome on the road.

Then you probably haven't looked hard enough Smile

Really, take a look at F-Stop, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
