Don't you just love the leadup to Photokina? There should be some cracker announcements next month at the trade show. The latest rumour is that Canon is going to announce a "Big Megapixel" camera - i.e. something to go head to head with the D800, called the 3D X.
It supposedly is going to have a 46 MP sensor and the AF unit from the 1D X. It will be interesting to see how Canon positions it though since the 1D X and the 5D Mark III are both relatively new and will be now inferior resolutionwise..
