Wow, thanks for the news, adam! Big Grin

Glad to see they fixed the startup time issue!

Some pretty impressive improvements for the XT, certainly a nice camera now and it seems to have fixed most of the issues that users of the Rebel would like to see fixed.

Just been skimming the details.
8mp, and all the facilities of the 10D?? Looks like it.
So the 10 is a tad obsolete now eh, not to mention the old Rebel 300D.

Looks like Pentax, Nikon and Minolta/Konica are going to have to act fast!!

Yersh, I wonder whether they'll keep the same price point, or whether they'll go head to head with the D70?

I'm still satisfied with my 300D!
The only time I'm not is when
*it doesn't start up fast enough
*noisy at high ISO (most cameras like this?)
*it's too big to be sneaky
*it takes a while to write to the card
*it attracts attention
*it doesn't make people smile and fix blemishes

but upgrading camera can't fix all that Smile

Still no PC output for attaching studio lights. Still a plastic body. It remains to be seen if the small viewfinder has been improved as they claim. But otherwise....

Unless you're using ISO3200 or seriously underexposing your shots, that should not be the case.

id like to see the day when they create high qualoty SLRs that u can be sneaky with ..
however the black body might help you be sneaky at night ?

*Puts thoughts into Adams head*
