Canon sx 50 autofocus
#1
Hello I own the canon sx 50. From time to time, as a hobby, I take pictures of birds. For me, the only real defect of the camera is the auto-focus which is really too slow. Do you think it's worth changing for the sx 70? Or wait for the release of the next one?

Sx70 won't improve the autofocus speed much at all. It's just the type of Autofocus the sx50/60/70 has. The camera has many great qualities, focusing isn't one of them.

It's never going to be fast enough for sports or birds in flight.

Upgrading to sx 70 won't improve auto focus.
