Designs: bit of a pp messabout

Didn't think these merited the main gallery, as I was incorporating some photos for use in designs/greetings cards, that kind of thing. I like them though: purdy in a twee way.
The Florence shot worked nicely in mono, so I was just experimenting for the fun of it;
The "monoplane" shot: I took at Kemble air show last year..actually a motorised hang-glider thing that is a 100% crop with the 70-200(tiny); it lent itself well to the " fin-de-siecle cigarette card" idea.

Zig:

I like both of them but I think that #2 is tighter concept-wise. You have definitely hit the nail on the head with the cigarette advert comment - you should pursue that concept more aggressively perhaps. I think #1 is a solid image that is doesn't get added to much by the surround.
