Fantastic contrast of architecture Don!
There are so many contrasting elements at work here... different architecture styles, old vs new, big vs small, materialism vs spiritualism, etc etc. I love the repetitive pattern as the background though. I'd also suggest maybe cropping the space on the left so that the skyscraper pattern fills the entire background. I suspect the reason you didn't include more at the bottom of the frame was because other buildings started to come into the shot. Was this the case? If so, I think you made the right decision - better to sacrifice some of the church and keep the idea behind the shot as strong as it is. If not though, it would've been nice to get a bit more of the church in. Great job! Thanks guys. Yes. It was shot from a skywalk bridge between two buildings over the roof of another building.

I like. Your way of post-processing helps the edginess of it all. I was going to agree with Kombi about the cropping...but I now feel that the bit on the left does add a certain nagging annoyance that helps the shot's mood.
