Hi there,
I am looking to purchase Photoshop Element 3.0. Does anyone know what the difference is between the Academic/Educational version ($99) vs the Standard Retail version ($155)?
TIA
I want one of those!

I had a look through the sites that sell the education version and on the Adobe site and can't see anything, not really sure where to look. Have you considered asking the retailer you got that price from?

I had the "educational" version of Photoshop 6 that a university colleague of mine helped me buy. It is absolutely identical. Adobe just cuts students a deal - which is very nice of them. I assume Elements is the same if their flagship product is handled that way.

From what I've read you can't buy the academic version of Photoshop CS outside of the US. Not very nice if you ask me!
