Experimenting
#1

I've been experimenting, using the Brenizer effect, in producing an image with a 3-D effect.

While this is not perfect, it does give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Very nice indeed. There may be others here who would like to know what the Brenizer effect is. If you explain, they may find it helpful.

Basically, it's setting a wide aperture on a telephoto lens when in fully manual mode and focusing on one focal plane.  Then it's a case of shooting a series of overlapping shots to stitch into a panorama.

Incidentally, a tip for you.
When I'm out shooting various sequences of shots like this I always separate each sequence by placing my hand over the lens and taking an underexposed shot.

Then when I'm in Lightroom, each sequence is easily identified.

You're not alone, I use left foot for start of a sequence, right for the end, use them as brackets!
