This was taken in 2005. It was taken on FILM and scanned! Fuji Superia 200. Camera was a Canon Eos 50e. Lens was a Canon 28-105mm f3.5-4.5 USM. The frame is cropped about 80%.

I shot this at the Raptor Conservation Society in Bedfordshire. The bird is a Eurasian Eagle Owl which is becoming more and more frequent in the British Isles. If I remember correctly, the lady's name was Laura. There was a very strong bond between the two.
