Flicker
#1

This bird has been showing up in my back yard from time to time this year. It has been killing me trying to get a photo as it gets startled quite easy from any movement. I was hoping to get a shot to try and find out what kind of bid it is as the wife and I have never seen it before. It is about the size of a small Crow or Stellar Jay. There has been 2 from what I suspect, a male and female. Well this-morning I finally captured it on camera and found out the type from Chapters book store. A Female Northern Flicker.

This birdie is beautiful, Colin... Smile Nice you could get your picture...

Hey but your birds are eating from a first class buffet.... Wink That is why you have beautiful birds around... They have a lot of different food... Mine are just eating some balls I hang on the tree... Poor little ones... They are going on fast food... sort of .... Smile

A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.
