Great shots. I love a bird in flight photo. The first and third shots have a great point of view, it looks like your up there next to them! The background looks great in the first one too. Were these taken with the DS?

Yes, these were all taken with the Pentax *istDS. If you don't include any ground clues in your picture, it gives the impression you took the shot from the air.

Great series... all the photos have lots in common - dramatic sky/background, nice capture of a bird in flight. The first one is my favourite - the lighting is just perfect.

I have to admit the first one is my favorite. I like the sense of vast space it gives me.
