Fluid Dynamics in Shag

My floors are covered with the same shag carpet that came with the house in 1966. I'm not proud of that fact, but the patterns in the fiber are continuously interesting, like fire or ocean.

Thanks guys. I noticed the patterns while I was leaving another room and the light was very dim and coming from only one direction. I thought it was a worthy subject.
