I have used several versions of the original Strobist cardboard box + paper idea and they can really work well.
This new "food" modification reminds us to use large and clean light sources placed close to the subject for smooth and professional-looking light, even on a tight budget.
Using materials you probably already have around the house is fun and there's no limit to what you can do if you put some thought into it.
