Thanks Pat.... and wow, that is very wide. I like it though. It would be very nice to have the ability to go that wide for certain shots. Some people complain about the distortion but I quite like the effect as shown in your interior shot. A lens of similar zoom will hopefully be my next 'investment'... eventually.

#1 is very lovely - just the sort of extreme nature shot that appeals to me. #2 shows the capabilities of the lens very well.

I am also looking for a ultra-wide lens but I really don't know which would be good for me...
I was thinking in the canon 12mm?
