I'm doing a 9 week photoshop (cs2) course. I've never used it before so it is a big learning curve for me.
I couldn't resist shooting these flowers hubby gave me on Valentine's Day and practising for homework.......
Auto colour, USM, no cropping
Auto contrast, USM, slight crop
Healing brush on blemishes, auto contrast, auto levels, USM, no cropping
Thanks for taking time to look, comments welcome

Those are beautiful flowers, Sharon. The color indeed is great!
I like a lot the composition in the last one.
How nice that you are learning how to work with photoshop... You have already beautiful pictures, this will be a great tool to make them even more beautiful...

Photoshop will be a big learning curve even after the 9 weeks. I keep finding new things on mine and it is only version 1. And don't believe anyone who says your version can't do this that or the other. Mine apparently cannot do layer masks....Ha ha, it can. But not in the way anyone else does it.

Thank you all, your comments are very encouraging and appreciated.
I have been working hard at taking better photographs since doing the course last year and I'm hoping the photoshop course will help even more

Hi Sharon. Lovely contrast and crystal clear well done. Once you get to grips with Photoshop your pictures will come alive!
