Very interesting scientifically.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Beautiful shot, NT.

...and the inset really reveals how much detail has been captured.

Thanks all.
The framed version is a different photo resized, with a tie dyed double selection around it. As Rob hints, to show what the macro was of.
The main is a macro cropped, and the colour is kind of true to life. (on my monitor that is. Wink )
Both taken with the LX5 last year I think.
I could have had a bit more DOF. The focussing distance is about 1 cm. Can't get that with the Tamron. :/

Well, grand stuff with an LX5 to be sure...and are you sure you could have bettered(in the sense of extended) the depth of field? I confess I'm a little humbled, as I was unaware the little panny could perform this well. Well done mate. Smile

I am not sure, but I will have a damn good try when the sun comes out again. Big Grin
A/V- spot metering - 1/60th - f2.8 - ISO 80

As it opens to f2 and goes down to f8, I am sure now I can better it. Oooh I can't wait. Big Grin
