you probably didn't want to be on this end of one of these things in the Ardennes in 1944... it's a German Jagdpanzer 38, designed specifically as a tank hunter. it was relatively lightly armored, but it packed a powerful 75mm gun, and because of its small size, was often used in ambush attacks. this one is a fully operable example owned by Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection. once a year, it gets driven out onto the tarmac - with rubber pads to keep the steel tracks from chewing up the pavement - and they fire a few blank rounds to delight the crowd...
