High speed flash water drops
#1

Hi all,

By way of an introduction I thought it would be best to let you see some of my work.

I have recently taken some water drop pictures (some also with milk) that are at

http://www.art-seekers.com/Photos.php?PW=20131010wd

These were mainly taken to show other members in the photographic club I belong to some examples of this type of photography.

I was using a StopShot controller to control the drops, camera and flash.

Best to you all

Mike

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for your reply.

My background is in engineering and I enjoy technical photography; some for work and some for play. In the 1980's I was connecting my camera to machines to get the synchronisation right, now I use this type of technology to capture sports, birds and some water drops.

The image of the Starling in flight on my home page at

http://www.art-seekers.com

was taken in the garden using a light beam trigger to activate the camera.

Obviously all these images have been reduced for the web so do not show the full quality.

I may be able to help some of your members if they want to get into this type of photography.

Best regards

Mike
