I-Movix Sprintcam Showreel - 1000FPS video
#1

I'll never look at video in the same way again. Check out this awesome montage of video taken at 1000FPS at a rugby game. Normal video runs at 25-30 FPS, so most of the clips look like incredibly detailed stills with certain elements moving.

Make sure you wait for the jelly at the end Smile

Amazing video - 1000 frames per second is hard to even comprehend...

Where do you get a camera like that?

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Just gorgeous. I love the smoke, fire, and the cheerleaders.

The biomechanists at my work have a similar high-speed camera - I wonder if I could borrow it for a weekend? I suspect the optics wouldn't be as good as that camera though, probably more like the dodgy Mythbusters high-speed cameras instead. Still, footage like that example makes me want to have a play.
