I hate to say it, but that actually looks interesting. It's a swiveling mirror that mounts to a 2 or 2.5" LCD for cameras that don't have an articulated screen. The link above is to Gizmodo.

That is really a good idea. I tried to make something like that mounted on the tripd socket but this is much classier. They don't say how to order it.
Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens.

I ordered it on eBay.It costs about $10~$20.You will be find it that typeing in the keyword ''LCD Display Mirror'' on eBay.
