Matrix rig
#1

Just reading the Feb 04 edition of Camera magazine (courtesy of My local library Smile).

There's an article on a guy who has a rig set up with 36 Canon 10Ds w/24-85 lenses, which can capture matrix like sequences for movies and commercials.

Apparently he used to use film cameras, but it took 2 days before you saw anything, and it cost $2000 a take. Nowadays, it takes 30 mins, and the result can be burnt to DVD or quicktime files there and then.

How much does he charge? About $5 to $10,000 AUD per day for everything! Pretty cool! Good to see digital being put to great use...
