So what software do people use here to edit thier photos?
i generally use C1 rebel now to handle my rRAW files ...
and i use macromedia fireworks for batching my JPEGs and doing basic level editing ...
im starting to use photoshop again .. but it kills my system resources...

Yeah for web stuff (like editing photos for shuttertalk) I tend to use PSP, as it loads faster.
But for my photos I use Adobe Elements.

I use C1 rebel to process the RAWS, then photoshop for everything else
but lately I haven't been doing much of 'everything else' (sticking people's heads on other people's bodies and other naughty things like that)
but photoshop is still very useful

I liked ULEAD cool360, it was easy to use and gave pleasing results.
Also had amusing sound effects and some export options: jpg, quicktime VR file, and some others
