In a Flap.

Must say that with the site now attracting more Pro Photographers that posting in the Critique Forum does make one a little hesitant. Then again these guys should have, in theory [Image: wink.gif], tips and advice. All helps the learning curve !.
This shot ( Canada Goose ? ) was taken when out and about at the week-end.
DMC- FZ200, SP 1/1250 @ f/3.2 ISO 100. 17.8mm ( 107mm equivalent ). Hand Held.

Processed in Lightroom CC.

That is a great capture, Mike. Although it is fine as it is, if it were mine I might try a subtle increase of mid-tone contrast, but that is just to suit my taste.

Cheers.

Looks good to me, Mike. I like the composition with the angles coming out of each lower corner. Would have liked a little more contrast with the colour of the water and the bird, just to increase separation. But it's a minor point.

Thanks Guys. Rather pleased with this one myself so am relieved that the general consensus is that it is not too bad an effort.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Cheers, Mike.

Love the exposure, nice and sharp, great detail in the feathers. I'm always wary of getting too close to those guys, been pecked twice in the past LOL.

Many thanks Craig.
As for me, I would rather be close to a goose than one of your bears.
