LESSER BLACK BACKED GULL.
#1

One for Jocko, a Scottish gull taken in Edinburgh. The plan was to capture as it took flight. It had other ideas. Consoled myself with this shot.
Nikon D3300 + Tamron  70 - 300mm. SP. 1/2000 @ f/5, ISO 800. 175mm ( 262mm equivalent )

Would prefer a full bodied shot of it..... that way we could of seen it's kilt and of been sure it was Scottish!

Nicely done Smile

Vermin. Nice photo though. If you wanted it to fly you should have thrown it a chip!

Ask yourself, "What's most important for the final image?".

Hi Craig and John,
Sadly, it was not wearing its kilt and this being a family friendly site I felt it advisable to crop.
I just knew you adored gulls John.
Thanks for the comments.
Cheers, Mike.
